Foire aux questions (FAQ)
Schools in New Brunswick that wish to receive curbside recycling services should register. If your school is already receiving recycling collection service through the residential program, you do not need to register.
Public, private, band-operated schools, and alternative learning centers are all eligible to participate in the program.
You will need to provide school contact details to ensure the smooth setup of recycling services. If you are representing a school district and handling registration for all your schools, you will need to provide the school names and addresses.
After registering, the recycling collector assigned to your region will contact you to discuss the next steps and may arrange a site visit. It is anticipated that recycling collectors will be making contact starting in March 2025 for those who registered by January 31, 2025 and in July 2025 for those who registered by May 31, 2025.
Schools can register for recycling services past these deadlines. The deadlines are shown under the Key Dates section. If you have further questions about the timelines, please contact NBOperations@circularmaterials.ca.
