Application: National Board
Call for Applications: National Board of Directors and Committees
Circular Materials is a federally incorporated national not-for-profit producer responsibility organization that is committed to deliver value to its producers. Through the support of its founders and Board of Directors, Circular Materials designs blue box recycling systems that advance innovation, deliver program compliance, improve environmental outcomes and harness competitive procurement to provide the best value for producers.
As the organization expands its geographic reach to support extended producer responsibility (EPR) in Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Alberta and the Yukon, the Circular Materials Board of Directors is in the process of renewing its governance structure, which includes the appointment of new Directors.
Circular Materials’ National Board of Directors is responsible and accountable for:
- Governance and stewardship, including appointments to and structure of National and Regional Committees,
- Compliance, strategic oversight, guidance and support of Circular Materials, to ensure it delivers on purpose and performance while remaining a financially and operationally resilient organization.
In addition to candidates for the National Board of Directors, Circular Materials is seeking candidates for the Finance, Audit and Performance Committees (FAPCs) that will help ensure effectiveness and performance across its geographies.
A candidate brief with more details on the opportunity can be found here. The application form can be accessed at this link: Circular Materials Application Form.
